Is Your Brand An Exact Mirror Image Of Yours? It Shouldn't Be

‘Vanity leads to fall’, this is an old saying which will hold its value forever. Vanity not only affects your daily life but your business too. The biggest example is when you are representing your business through all your means by boasting about yourself instead of telling people about your work and products. Expert logo designers say that mostly the small business owners who are famous in their local sector have this feeling of , ‘I am the best’ and hence never make it upto the global level.

So, if your brand image only tells about you, get rid of that image and reshape it. Customers out there are more interested in knowing about your business and how is it going to help them. They want to know the benefits, how much reasonable you are and are you providing the quality or not. If your brand image only tells about you or represents you then you are making a mistake.

What your brand does?

Your brand's job is to make your small business to be more established and stable instead of leading it to a more risky side. A perfect brand is that which makes your business look more ‘businesslike’, that means it should be more credible, dependable, and customer-focused. A business brand can help you position your business as helpful, concerned about clients, and capable of delivering.

As a whole it allows you to speak about and present your business as a separate entity. It should not  constantly talk about you. In other words, a brand helps to take the spotlight off the entrepreneur and give the business a personality of its own. So, now its time to let your business shine instead of you.

How can you separate your business and brand from you?

1.Are you going to expand?

The first question you have to ask to yourself is whether you want to expand your business or not. If yes, then you need to hire people and make sure they are able to deliver the right knowledge and meaning of your brand. If you want it to be a single person business then your brand’s identity can be near to your own personality but be careful, it should not entangle with each other.

2.How your competitors present their brand?

This is an important concept which makes you understand what other tactics can be applied to make your brand stand out. You can learn from their strategies whether you should apply them or not in the future. Keep a keen watch on how do they carry out out their branding and representing their business.

3.Which personality trait of yours can impress your customers?

Whether its your fair pricing or good service you need to show something to your prospects. This will help you to build a trust among them and hence they will return back to you. Slowly they will know about your brand  and business.

4.Do you have a logo?

Instead of boasting about yourself, creating your own picture as the logo of your company will not do anything good. If you do not have any logo designer then hire someone now and get a logical logo designed for your business. Let it be the face of your company instead of you. Putting your own photo at the place of your logo again tells that sam story where you deliver the message, I am the best and I am here to do business with you’. This does not look nice.

No doubt, its your company, your brand and you are the support system here but now what matters the most is customer satisfaction. If your brand is only concerned about its own how can it deliver satisfaction? So, stop bragging and start building.
