Android Nougat is the latest and current version of the android operating system. It is the 7th release of the android operating system which is well-equipped with powerful refinements and new features for android phones, TVs, and android wears.

1. Multi-window mode:

Nougat came up with new enhancements in notification panel of your phone, tablet or other such devices. These enhancements include:

• Notification template: The all new notification template came up with all new design of the notification template which emphasizes on the icons.
• Bundled notification: Notifications of similar type or relate to same apps are bundled together and then the user can drag or tap on the notification to expand and view all the notifications. For instance, you receive 11 new messages on your Whatsapp. Then the notification will be like “11 new messages from 2 chats”. You then need to drag or tap on the notification to view detailed notification.
• Direct reply: The all new feature of direct reply is available on the android devices, where you can directly respond back to the message without even opening the app. The same feature is available for calling apps too. You can directly call back to the person whose call you missed.

• Doze mode:

Doze mode is used to optimize and save battery life of your android devices. This mode restricts all the background data and other activities of the apps when the device is not in use. It also restricts apps from accessing the network and adjourn their jobs, syncs, and standard alarms.

• Data saver:

Data saver is the feature which restricts access to all apps and also restricts cellular data in the background. This feature can be turned on from the settings of your android phone or tablet. It also minimizes the amount of data consumed when the application is being used.

• Number blocking:

This feature of number blocking is now officially available on the android’s latest version, Nougat. This feature enables blocking an incoming phone number and automatically it blocks the incoming messages from the same number. Because the default phone and messaging apps have access to the list of numbers blocked.

• New emojis:

The latest version of android has also introduced various new emojis with several skin tones. The user can even set the default skin tone for the emojis to their devices, so as to get quick and fast access to the emojis.  

• Gaming:

Nougat took the gaming experience to the next level. This version uses advanced 3D rendering technology to improve the gaming experience of the users and also users can now enjoy games that come to life like never before.
